Frequently Asked Questions

Video Playback and Streaming

Why is my video not playing?

Usually one of four things, and only two are yours to fix. The source is dead. The source will not send an Access-Control-Allow-Originheader, which a browser requires and many stream servers never send. The address is plainhttp://, which a secure page may not load at all. Or the manifest is malformed. Thestream checker tells you which, and the playback guide covers each in turn.

Why is there no sound?

Check the player is not muted first, then your system volume. If both are fine, the likely cause is the stream itself: some declare an audio codec the browser cannot decode, which gives you picture with silence rather than an error. Thestream analyzer shows which audio tracks and codecs a manifest actually declares.

Why is the video buffering?

Either your connection or the source. A properly built stream offers several quality renditions and the player drops to a lower one rather than stalling, so persistent buffering often means the stream has only one rendition and nothing to fall back to. That is visible in the manifest: run it through the analyzer and count the levels.

Quality and Performance

Why is the video quality poor?

The source sets the ceiling. No player can add detail that was never encoded, so a 480p stream stays 480p on any screen. What a player can do is pick the best rendition your connection supports, which it does automatically here. If the picture is worse than you expect, check what the stream actually offers before blaming the player.

How do I enable subtitles?

If the video has subtitles available, you can enable them through the video player's settings. Click the subtitles icon in the player controls to select your preferred language.

Can I use Picture-in-Picture mode?

Yes, our player supports Picture-in-Picture mode. Click the PiP icon in the player controls to enable this feature. This allows you to watch content while browsing other tabs or applications.

Playlist Management

How do I add channels to my playlist?

You can add channels in two ways: import an M3U/M3U8 playlist file or add individual channels manually. Use the "Add" tab in the sidebar to access both options.

Can I organize my channels into groups?

Yes, when adding channels manually, you can specify a group name. Channels will be automatically organized under their respective groups in the playlist sidebar.

How do I manage my favorites?

Click the star icon next to any channel to add it to your favorites. Favorite channels appear at the top of your playlist for quick access.

Where your data lives

Do I need an account?

There are none. No sign-up, no login, nothing to create. That is not a feature waiting to be built either: the whole design assumes there is no server holding anything of yours, andthe takedown policyand privacy policyboth rest on that being true.

Where is my playlist stored?

In your browser, and nowhere else. Playlists, favourites and settings are written to this browser’s local storage on this device. They are never uploaded, so there is nothing on our side to secure, to leak, or to hand over. The trade is real and worth knowing: clearing your browser data deletes them, and they do not follow you to another device. Export a file for anything you want to keep.

Can I export my playlist?

Yes, you can export your playlist as an M3U file. This allows you to backup your channels or use them in other compatible players.
